TERMS
Please read this before ordering!
- Orders are shipped on a First In - First Out basis.
- Orders placed in March/April/May - (our busy season) - may take up to 30 days to ship.
- Larger orders might be shipped in 2 or 3 parcels, on different days, due to availability of certain seasonal varieties. - Email for availability.
- Orders placed June-Feb. are shipped within 3-7 days (in most cases)
- Plants are shipped bare root and are NOT potted!
- Orders include our USDA inspected Nursery certificate.
- Minimum amount for any order is $10.00 US plus 12.5% shipping.
- We guarantee 'live' arrival within the USA - We have no control of time schedules of plants
shipped out of the country, so the length of time may be excessive and harmful
to delicate forms of plants leaving the states. Some countries may have rules
and laws that may also slow down delivery. Lees can not guarantee any parcel
shipped out of the USA. - You are responsible for providing daily care.
- We will substistute a similar item if out of stock of items ordered
unless you request No Substitution.
From our beginning in 1981 until June of 2009,
we have always charged our customers 10% for shipping.
Over that same time period, the post office has raised their rates 10 times.
Unfortunately, we now have to charge 12.5%.
The bigger problem is not the weight of the parcels, but the size of the box.
Due to size limitations, we are charged at 3 times the regular rate for oversized boxes,
and the parcels don't really have to be that long to be penalized.
Due to this postal policy, many larger plants that we ship will need to be
carefully bent to fit standard size boxes and a small amount of damage
may occur, due to this new packaging/shipping situation.
Our sincere appologies but this is the only way for us to keep shipping costs reasonable.
